Community
Health Foundation of Langlade
Hospital projects provided gifts of
more than $50,000, which allowed
the Red Cross to purchase infant
manikins and the Community
Partners for Medication Safety to
buy additional medication Red Bags.
Te Aging and Disability Resource
Center received funding for fall
prevention education as well.
Grants were also awarded to the
Clara R. McKenna Aquatic Center
to support a new splash garden,
a sunscreen shade area, and bus
rides to swimming lessons for
elementary school children. Funds
were designated for a natural
playground at Langlade Hospital’s
LeRoyer Childcare Center, and
wig stands were purchased for
the Cancer Center. We provided
a mobile ultrasound unit for
Langlade Hospital Imaging and
provided funds to the Antigo Grid
Iron Club to purchase concussion
helmets for all high school players.
Te Boys & Girls Club received
funding to provide healthy snacks
and bussing to the Aquatic Center.
Te Community Health
Foundation gave to health-related
programs in the Antigo, Elcho, White
Lake and Wabeno School districts
and All Saints and Peace Lutheran
schools. Funds were provided for
nutrition and prescription drug
awareness DVDs, a walking trail;
scooter boards; ice skates; and
equipment for lacrosse, pickle ball,
badminton, baggo and beanbags.
Grants have also provided
healthy snacks, Zumbatonics, a Wii
