Community benefts are programs and services designed to improve health
in communities and increase access to health care. Tey are integral to the
mission of Catholic, not-for-proft health care organizations, and are the
basis for tax exemption. Langlade Hospital is proud to provide community
beneft services to enrich the lives and promote the health of our surrounding
community. In 2010, Langlade Hospital provided $1,034,264 of community
service activities through our community benefts program.

In keeping with our mission of high-quality, compassionate service, Langlade
Hospital ofers the Community Care Program, which is designed to provide
assistance to patients when medical bills become troublesome. In 2010, Langlade
Hospital provided assistance to more than 275 patients through this program.
Patients are considered for this program based on fnancial need. Te fnancial
qualifcation of the Community Care Program is based on percentages of the
